Conceptual Layout and Design
A project starts first as an idea. It is drawn onto paper to begin. Design requirements and other drivers are identified and are used to shape the design in both form and function.
CAD Design and Lofting
The design is fleshed out into a 3D CAD environment. The flight surfaces are lofted with either off the shelf NACA airfoils or specially designed custom airfoil sections. The fuselage is lofted along with the empennage flight surfaces.
3D CAD Modeling
Once the aircraft is lofted, parts are identified and modeled. The 3D assembly is populated with all the parts and pieces that will be required .
